Invoicing for UK sole traders & freelancers

Get paid.
Without the awkward.

Create and send professional invoices in minutes — then Dunn chases every one for you, automatically, in your name, until it's paid.

The average UK small business is owed £12,357 a year in late payments · Hiscox Late Payments Report, 2026

How it works

You send the invoice once. Dunn does the chasing.

Invoice like normal — Dunn handles everything that comes after. Three steps, five minutes of setup, and you never write another "just following up…" email.

1

Create an invoice

Add your client, amount and due date. Dunn generates a branded PDF with your logo, bank details and payment link — ready to send in under a minute.

2

Dunn chases it — politely, then firmly

A friendly nudge 2 days before the due date. A firm follow-up on it. A final notice a week after, referencing your statutory late-payment rights. All in your name, with replies straight to your inbox.

3

You get paid

Your bank details and pay-online link are on every email. Mark it paid and Dunn stops instantly. No confrontation, no chasing, no awkward.

"Hi, so sorry to chase again, I know you're mad busy, no rush at all but did you maybe see that invoice from March?"

FAQ

Fair questions.

Is Dunn an invoicing tool or an email tool?

Both — in that order. Dunn is an invoicing tool first: you create branded invoices with your logo, bank details and payment link. The difference is what happens next — every invoice you send is chased automatically with a polite three-step email sequence until it's paid. Most invoicing tools stop at "sent"; Dunn stops at "paid".

Do the reminder emails look like they come from me?

They're sent in your name from Dunn's sending address, signed off by you, with your email set as the reply-to — so when a client hits reply, it lands in your inbox, not ours. Your bank details and payment link are included on every one.

When exactly do reminders send?

A friendly nudge 2 days before the due date, a firm follow-up on the due date, and a final notice 7 days after. Each step sends at most once per invoice, and everything stops the moment you mark it paid.

What does it cost?

Nothing during early access — the full product is free while we're in beta. Paid tiers (Pro and Growth) come later, and you'll never be moved onto one automatically.

Can my clients pay online?

Yes — paste your Stripe Payment Link, PayPal.me or bank payment link into Settings once, and a "Pay this invoice" button appears on every invoice PDF and reminder email.

Is my data safe?

Your data is protected with row-level security (each account can only ever access its own records), encrypted in transit, and handled under UK GDPR. You can export or delete your account at any time — see our privacy policy.
